Hello and thanks for stopping by! Here's a little bit about me, I've been a scrapbooker for almost 8 years. I started when my first child was born and decided that I want to keep memories of all her special milestone. Forward to today, I have another 4 year-old, and I've filled up about 10 scrapbook albums. I absolutely love Scrapbooking but I do feel that my progress is too slow.
I go through periods where I don't scrap for months, sometimes it's because life gets busy, but a lot of times it's also because I get creativity blocks (a bit like writer's block). I started looking for YouTube videos where I can scrap along, and surprisingly couldn't find any! So I decided, why not I start one?
That's how Scrap with Juanita started!

That's how Scrap with Juanita started!
With Scrap with Juanita videos, I encourage my viewers to use their products of choice preferably what they already have (many of us scrapbookers have too big a stash, don't we?). I use predominantly Stampin' Up products because I'm a Stampin' Up demonstrator, which simply gives me access to fantastic products. If you 're new to scrapbooking or would like to use the products I'm using, I do have link below to my shop and the tools and materials that I have used for this video. This is why Scrapbooking is so fun, once you know the general layout idea, you can use whatever products you like to complete it. It might be from the same layout, but everyone will end up with a different looking page!
Ok without further ado (sorry for the long intro), here's a brief instructions for my first page, the video has the steps in more details.
First, you need the following Materials:
In bracket is what I have used and link to my shop:
1 x pink cardstock for the base (Blushing Bride from Subtles 12”x12” cardstock pack)
1 x white cardstock for matting (Whisper White 12”x12”)
2 x patterned paper (Flowers for Every Season M&Mcard pack)
1 x brown cardstock for diet cut (Soft SuedeA4 cardstock)
1 x darker green cardstock for die cut Pretty Peacock A4 cardstock)
1 x lighter green cardstock for diet cut (Shaded Spruce A4 cardstock)
1 x white cardstock for stamping (Whisper White A4 cardstock)
2 x 4" by 4" photos
Next, besides the basic tool kit (trimmer, adhesive etc), the following Tools are what you need:
In bracket is what I used and link to my shop:
Stamps/dies to make one large embellishment (CelebrationSunflower bundle)
Some stickers (Flowers For Every
Season Memories & More Card Pack)
Glitter pen/glue (Wink of Stella Clear Glitter brush or you can use glitter glue)
Stamping tool (Stamparatus or you can just
use an acrylic block)
Yellow inkpad (Crushed Curry Inkpad)
Steps (refer to video for more details)
1) Trim your white cardstok to 29.5cm by 29.5cm2) Optional - Cut out the middle of your pink cardstock leaving approximately 2.5cm border. I like to do this to save paper as well as making my album lighter.
3) Stick the white cardstock onto your pink piece, leaving an even border around the page.
4) Trim your patterned paper into four squares, 2 of each pattern, 14.5cm by 14.5cm. Stick this onto the white cardstock leaving an even border.
5) Next, make your large embellishment. I'm using my sunflower bundle, so I stamped my sunflower with yellow inkpad onto white cardstock, and then using my diecut machine, i cut out my stamped image, as well as the sunflower outline (in brown) and leaves (in green and dark green for outline).
6) Stick your large embellishment onto the top right corner of your page using liquid adhesive so that you can move things around until you are happy with the positioning.
7) Decorate the bottom left corner with stickers and/or titles for your page.
8) Last but not least, stick your photos in the top left and bottom right corner!
Once again thanks fro stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed my post and my video. If you did scrap along with me, I would love to see it, so please comment below to show me!
Happy Scrapping!
Juanita 💗
