Hi everyone, welcome to another round of Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop! This is my second time joining and I got confused with the challenge 😅 I thought the challenge is to create a layout using the sketch (below) with the theme Celebrate. I realised after finishing the layout that the challenge was just to create any layout as long as the theme is Celebrate! Since my layout is completed (and I don't have time to make another), i'm just going to roll with it!
Ok, here's the sketch (that I didn't need to follow 😅):
And here's my take on the sketch:
This was perfect opportunity to scrap the photos I took from our most recent celebration - Father's Day!
As this was a Father's Day layout, I used our more masculine range of paper called the World of Good DSP. I love this paper range, especially the gold foil. So I added my title using gold foil sheets too, and it matches the paper perfectly! 😍
I love this sketch because it challenged me to try a new technique - adding journaling by printing it out! It is a lot nicer and neater than my hand writing 😂
Thanks for stopping by! Please continue and hop to our next blog by the talented Cheryl Taylor!
Happy Scrapping!

I love the gold lettered title! This page is just awesome, and I agree that this paper works so well for a masculine theme. Love the journalling strips!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words Julia, and thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI love the entire "World of Good" suite and I adore how you've used it here.
